Saturday, August 27, 2011

LAILATUL QADAR LAILATUL QADAR or Lailat Al-Qadr (Arabic: ليلة القدر) (evening provision) is an important night that occurred during Ramadan, which in the Qur'an is described as a night better than thousand months. And is also celebrated as the night the revelation of the Qur'an. Description of the privilege tonight can be found on the Surat al-Qadr, the 97th letter in the Qur'an.According to the Quraish Shihab, said al-Qadr (قدر) in accordance with its use in the verses of the Qur'an could have three meanings namely :

1. Determination and regulation so that Lailat Al-Qadr is understood as the night the determination of God for the journey of human life. Use of Qadr as statutes can be found on the letter Ad Dukhan verses 3-5: Verily, We have it down (The Quran) on one night, and actually we who gave the warning. On the night that explained all the affairs of the penah wisdom, namely on the side of a big deal to us.

2. Glory. The night was glorious night unequaled. He is noble because it was selected as the night of Al-Quran fall. Use of Qadr which refers to the glory can be found in surah Al-An `am (6): 91 which speaks of the idolaters: They did not glorify God with the glory which should, when they say that God is not down anything to society.

3. Narrow. Tonight is the night the narrow, because of the many angels who descended to earth, as asserted in the letter of Al-Qadr. Use of Qadr to symbolize the narrowness can be found on the letter Ar-Ra'd verse 26: God's provision paved the desired and narrow (for what He will). In the Qur'an, Surat Al-Qadr night exactly is said to have better value than a thousand months .97:1 On this night also told the Qur'an was revealed, as detailed in the letter Ad Dukhan verses 3-6. 44:3.There are opinions that say that the night is Laylat al-Qadr in the last 10 nights of Ramadan, it is based on the hadith of Aisha who said: "The Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam retreat in the last ten days of Ramadan and he said, which means:" Look for the nights Laylat al-Qadr in the (odd nights) in the last 10 days Romadhon "" (HR: Bukhari 4 / 225 and Muslim 1169.
