In carrying out engineering work, Engineering Division uses advanced and up-to-date End-to-End state-of-the-art CAD (Computer Aided Design), AUTOCAD and PDS (Plant Design System), internationally recognized for sophisticated engineering. This provides a number of distinct advantages, among them, a single database for all types of drawing and a basic engineering document from which to develop detailed P&ID and Plot Plans up to Shop Drawings.

Rekayasa Industri Persero has also developed its own Project Management Software, known as "SIMPROSA", to control project executions.
